Yang Xu is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) majoring in Genomics and Computational Biology (GCB). He received his BE in Bioinformatics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China (2017), where he was the recipient of two national scholarships. He is interested in alternative splicing and identification of novel peptides and proteins using multi-omics data.
