Robert Wang, BS

Graduate Student

Robert (Rob) Wang is a PhD student with the Genomics and Computational Biology (GCB) Graduate Program at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He received his BS in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley (2019), where he graduated summa cum laude. He is broadly interested in using computational methods and high-throughput experiments to understand how post-transcriptional processes influence cell function and identity. His current work uses nanopore single-cell transcriptome sequencing to examine differences in isoform usage among immune cell populations. In his free time, Rob enjoys drawing comics, playing volleyball, and being terrible at video games.
