Robert Wang, B.S.

Rotation Student


Robert Wang is a first year Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) majoring in Genomics and Computational Biology (GCB). He received his B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley (2019), where he graduated summa cum laude. His research interests involve using computational approaches to discover novel mechanisms for post-transcriptional regulation. His current work focuses on functional characterization of tissue-specific circular RNAs. Outside of the lab, Robert dabbles in illustration and plays on the men’s club volleyball team at Penn.
