Robert (Rob) Wang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine. He received his PhD in Genomics and Computational Biology (GCB) from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in 2025. He received his BS in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley (2019), where he graduated summa cum laude. He is broadly interested in using computational methods and high-throughput experiments to understand how post-transcriptional processes influence cell function and identity. His current work uses nanopore single-cell transcriptome sequencing to examine differences in isoform usage among immune cell populations. In his free time, Rob enjoys drawing comics, playing volleyball, and being terrible at video games.
