Yan Gao is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Computational and Genomic Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in Harbin, China. His current research focuses on developing computational methods to process and analyze third-generation long-read RNA-seq data so as to study RNA mis-splicing and mutations at full-length isoform level in human disease.
